you'll notice the feds don't care if you live 100% off-grid on your own, though that's extremely difficult
if you gather any more than like a small family, though, of people who don't depend on anything except each other, it's automatically a "cult" and you get ATF'd immediately
the ATF is the immune system of civilization, it gets sent out to deal with cancerous masses before they grow too large
