I'm having a bit of an identity crisis. My mom was super catholic and my dad (raised catholic) hated church so I stopped going after high school. I'm familiar with all the criticisms each side has for each other but even then I don't have the heart to pick one over the other. I think pagans have better arguments, but I really like Catholic aesthetics and pre ww2 doctrine even though it's totally owned by jews. My interactions with pagans are extremely hostile while Christians are nicer in general. It gives me doubts about whether its a genuine religion or just an outlet for anti-social people. Is there something that made you take the plunge to one side or the other?

Maybe you should base your religious beliefs on whatever you think is correct rather than who is "nicer." I'm an atheist in case that matters.

I haven't found a religion that explains an earth over 27K years old--- with humans.
