I got on EBT when i was laid off but because i applied for unemployment first, unemployment counted as a source of income so they only give me a meager $22 in food stamps a month, which is a fucking joke. So i'll just not use my EBT card for a few months and then waste it on some nice shit like today.

I'm no longer unemployed but they are still adding funds to my EBT card

only giving me $21 because of UNEMPLOYMENT compensations makes me mad. My unemployment pay hit the max and was only 40% of the income im used to. What a crock of shit... it didnt even cover living expenses and the welfare office was like "um ok but we dont care if your living expenses are more than your income be happy with $21 for food lool"

i guess a lesson ive learned is that if i get laid off, to get on EBT first and then get on unemployment. If my income is zero that means I'd max out on EBT
