Any FAANG SWE's here? I left Amazon when they were starting RTO. But I'm interviewing for Meta soon and I'm not sure if I could have kept up that same pace at Amazon if I didn't have to leave. Wondering if Meta is any different and how? I've tried looking elsewhere for this info so don't go larping with reposted shit from Quora or Reddit or something. But I assume no one would do that here like they would on Reddit.

I think you mean FAGMAN. I haven't heard word about them since their layoffs back in like late 2023-early2024 but I personally wouldn't rule them out. Only ick I get is their government ties. Sounds like a lot of good roles require clearance and I'm not into praying to Moloch or celebrating Shabbat

Honestly it was a shot in the dark. I also posted on /g/ but they're elitist in their own ironic way against FAANG. I browse /biz/ about 16 hours a day and I can tell you the only people there are people wanting into FAANG that never will be (/curry/). Even if another FAGMAN posted there I would never be able to tell if it was real or a larp. Sadly ever since the WSB exodus they're the closest thing I've found to Reddit2.0 culturally.
