that's really the double edged sword of minimum wage, in a big city as long as you have saved up money you can just take leave for a family emergency and they probably wont fire you because they don't wanna train someone for a job the boss barely wanted to hire you in the first place for (the employees got upset with short staff but COVID showed him it works)

So they'll probably keep you and if they don't as long as you're in a city you can find another one ez

I've been with the same company for 10 years so I get a lot of vacation days but I cash about half of it out for an easy 3k extra a year. My boss never turns down time off I put in for.

no thats called time off. vacation is when you go somewhere or something idk i dont go anywhere.

I have to request off, but it basically never gets denied. Just whenever I want as long as I have the PTO and my assistant director is going to be around to cover for me.
