Conspiracy people usually aren't looking for an answer, they just want something that will make them feel better. The world is an immensely complicated place with innumerable competing interests and powers all in play at once. No one fully understands it. Reducing everything to "look what the jews are doing now!" makes everything feel much simpler and gives the stupid a convenient single entity to blame for everything that goes wrong. Many such cases.
