I don't get it. Doesn't him being God undo any point he is trying to make while larping as a man? He can't be tempted or claim to be a sinless man if he is God. I would conjecture that he was just human.
he was fully God and fully human
>>22954359Humans have their own souls with limitations. What point was he trying to make without the struggles and consequences of being mortal?
I know the answer to it all and I will die with it
who could say...
>>22954377do we have limitations though?
the only way you could find out is trying to be perfect every second of your life, which absolutely can be done
actually, you probably wouldn't find out that way
how would you know for certain whether you could've tried even harder?
i guess my point is, it's impossible to know your own limitations, let alone anyone elses, so in practice we have no limitations
>>22954421I'm just trying to figure out the narrative since responses like this
>>22954359 create far more questions and implications than answers.
>>22954501"what point was he trying to make without the struggles of being human?"
well, what do you mean? what point is that?
alternatively, what point would he have been making if he HAD had the limitatinos of being human?
i don't know why lacking human limitations would subvert the point, not because i disagree, but because i don't know what the point is
WOKE UIP THIS MORNIN
GOT YOURSELF A GUN
>>22954508If he was God then he knew everything ahead of time and he never really died either. Also, knowing that you're God your whole life changes how you approach it. The whole story just seems as impressive as a grown man being able to tie his own shoes.
>>22954543you were unimpressed?
i understand what you're saying but it wasn't an answer to what i asked, and it's different from your OP, atleast if i'm to take your words literally
i just don't know what you're getting at
maybe i'm a retard
>>22954548What point did I make that was different? Tell me what you think I'm saying.
