desu I'm not an alcoholic
because alcoholics maintain a certain level of drunkenness for any price
and I don't do that, I just chase the buzz that fades after like 40 mins until I pass out
I don't mind being sober, probably also why my liver is holding up
but once I start drinking I can't stop becuase I never had a single bit of discipline

don't take it too seriously, you'd be surprised how many people can moderately binge.

BUTTT if you are even thinking
>Am I an alcoholic? No.. NO WAY
ur a drunkard

I made the mistake of trying to have fun drinking alone

it sucks
i wanted to believe i could do that as well with several drugs, but thankfully nothing too hard & not alcohol
lucky me i guess
i wish you didn't have to have a social life to not go insane :/
it's so anxiety-inducing
>>22971968
>would you rather be right or would you rather be happy?
seems like good advice, ty

my one remaining childhood friend works in a bolt factory halfway across the country
he's nearly been kicked out 3 times by his drunk dad
he started drinking as well
it seems like it genuinely helps him deal with the anxiety, but he's basically gone, makes bad decisions, wrecked his car twice, and keeps breaking $10,000 equipment at work
it seems like it causes more stress in the long run

I unironically get so much more shit done when drunk, like writing job applications, cooking or doing laundry, shit that I'd never do while sober because of procrastination
