So anyway I wasn't going to write about it but I work up and decided to anyway but it's nit as good because my supernatural thread was deleted.


This is the last supernatural thing that happened to me, maybe it was like a farewell fro, the supernatural side of things, I don't really know. I don't think it was a hallucination because in the span of time that it happened, I saw nothing else strange or unusual, and it was only for a few seconds, so it's kind of peculiar, among other variables.


Basically I was in this facility and I was sitting in front of a large window and I spent a great deal of time looking out of it. It was daytime, about summer.

There's lots of traffic outside in the area the window overlooks. I watched the traffic and eventually I saw this young looking guy riding a bike I didn't realize it at first, he just grabbed my attention and stood out to me, then my eyes did a second take and I realized he was wearing a God damn Robin costume. It was so weird. He had a cape on and everything, but he was wearing the original Robin costume, he didn't exactly look like Burt Ward, his costume looked slightly different, but it was the same design.

I'm not sure how long it was a couple of seconds close to a minute I saw him then as he rode closer to the window, it looked like the sun was stating to shine brightly on him, so much so that there was a flash of bright light and his costume changed to normal clothes, but he was still riding a bike.

It makes me almost think, was he an angel? I know it sounds propesterous to many but I think it was a sign from God. I don't know what it would mean though at all, I just keep thinking about the "Phat Load message" that I found magically appeared on my keychain.

It just felt like a clearer message was getting through almost somehow. Also it seemed kind of celestial, heavenly because of the light from the sun. I don't like Robin's original costume because it's kind of gay, it's not a part of my psyche at all

I'm going to try to create a batman beyond costume replica, but only if it's not too expensive. It probably won't be cheap though. Basically I'm going for something like this design here, I'm thinking about the face mask and the idea with him always being depicted as having a regular mouth that's a part of his costume would be that he has an open exposed mouth like regular batman, only he puts on paint makeup over his lower exposed face, mouth and lips.

It will be the best batman beyond cosplay ever done. I don't know where to start, I think I will need a 3D printer most likely. I'm nit even sure what material you would use, it's not quite metal, but it's not leather or clothe either so what would it be?

Anyway I love Thor but I’ll get back to that in a moment

I wanted to talk about these characters I have been working on and developing. So I have decided I would take the path of working on my own superheroes, I have a couple I created but I will mostly start with just two and see how successful they are from there. Making superheroes, comic books isn’t all I want to do though. I want to try my hand at fictional stories in general.

I want to start with art and comic books and work my way into maybe film or animation I’m not sure yet, or maybe I will
stick to comic books. I would like to do comic books instead of sticking to only writing purely novel based forms of books for some reason, it’s just more exciting and fun to me but it might actually be more difficult I also wonder what is respected more or if it makes a difference. Does literally translating your writing into images cheapen the story? Anyway, I kind of like comics because you get to work with images and it’s almost cinematic like film but offers more creative freedom in comics.

I don’t want to solely rely on writing, because for one I don’t think I would be that good at it and also I’m sort of a slow writer, but can draw somewhat fast.

I want to try and learn to paint as well and be sort of like Alex Ross and Frank Frazetta among others. Because you can sell paintings and make decent money on that as well as drawing comic books. I wouldn’t try to paint whole comics though. We shall have to see how difficult it is to learn how to paint. Then I will use that base to try and inch myself into creating my own characters and writing my own comics. Then hopefully if that’s successful at all, I’ll try to use the notoriety I gained from comics and painting to try and get into something like film.

I was thinking sort of like what Frank Frazetta did with Fire and Ice, influencing the art style and story, but I guess I also want to do something like Studio Ghibli I guess. Except I don’t want to explicitly copy studio Ghibli.

For example, I really like the movie Legend, I would like to make stories like that. But legend works best in a live action format pretty much, so I don’t know. I feel like I would struggle a lot outright directing, but if the opportunity presented itself and I was able to make films I feel strongly about then I would take it.

I like drawing and the idea of making comic books is enjoyable to me, but the ability to make my own comic books would be the most enjoyable to me.

Most people would just settle for that, but I feel like it would be limiting myself too much

The first project I want to do, but maybe it would be more difficult then I realize, but I want to write a graphic novel set in the not too distant future that is kind of like 1984 inspired by my experiences in Canada.

So basically I am a long time until completion because I still have to improve my drawing abilities through much dedication and hours of practice.


But I’m kind of pleased because I feel like I’ve almost managed to be influenced by not only western but eastern artists as well, though my intention is not to make that the point or make it obvious.

I started with Batman as a character, I was stuck on him for a while
Because I really liked toying with the idea of making my own totally different version of the character, but then at some point after putting all this effort into drawing concept art for costumes mostly
I was like “what’s the point of this?” “Fuck it” and I decided the ideas I had for Batman could be used for my own original character and it would be more fulfilling. Hence, where my goal of creating my own superheroes came from originally. While the original idea came from Batman and there is some similarities I think the idea I ended up with was still unique or original enough in itself. I decided from there to make a character that was somewhat like Superman. Basically I see superman as an archetype in the genre, so that’s how I saw it. For some reason when I tried to come up with ideas, I just really wanted to try something like Superman. But in actuality my idea doesn’t stray too far from the likes of other characters like Thor as well as an example. It’s not actually that similar to Superman in a sense that I just wanted to have a character with super strength and that could fly, with there being a host of characters possess these abilities.


I actually had some ideas that were like of similar to Testuo in Akira and I think that’s one of my inspirations. Basically instead of being bulletproof, I decided that he has to focus his abilities to create a kind of energy barrier around himself to be immune to things like bullets and strong concussive forces or blasts. Kind of like a force field around

Superman has been copied many times so I really wanted to do something original, but for some reason it’s hard to stray away from the baby from an alien planet, it’s been done so many times, it makes you wonder if there’s actually other ideas out there that exist.

I can’t remember all the ideas that I came up with, many of my ideas are stored on my broken laptop I have to take in the hopefully fix with the memory intact.

But I was thinking something along the lines of that, they are originally from earth. Basically my idea might not be as good because it brings into question some factors that might not be as wholesome or as genuinely good to suggest or insinuate.

But basically I was thinking they are from
earth, but instead they are one of the last surviving members of an almost completely extinct race or group of people. Ugh, but see, that almost doesn’t work as well. If they were ancient group of people that existed on the earth, what souls have stopped them from being conquerors? Anyway, there are aliens, but instead of them being aliens, this ancient group of people stopped an ancient alien invasion (it didn’t involve many space ships or advance weaponry, it was more a biological magic threat)

I have to include the other aspect of the background. I wanted to include something very similar to the notion of “Chi” or “Ki” which is found very predominately in Eastern fiction and various stories, it’s basically the explanation for why characters have special or heightened abilities it’s always chi/ki it’s the explanation behind dragon balls powers and abilities.

It’s also in my story very similar to the explanation and background behind the special abilities in Akira.

But instead I wanted to do my own take on it through a more I guess “western” version and instead this character I wanted to create I haven’t thought of project name for them but I think I’ll just call them monsoon, I really like that name

Basically I decided to do my own take on the chi/ki thing and thought that instead the main explanation and idea would be “Soul power” and this character who I will refer to as Monsoon. His power basically comes from his soul. His ability to use his powers depends on his capability to harness his soul where his powers reside. So basically in saying that, his powers can wax and wane a lot, but they’re not always predictable or reliable. And also over time his powers increase.

I’m not sure if it’s much different from chi/ki but I will try to differ from it slightly later on as I flesh things out. In this universe I’m creating, special abilities and powers originate from what I call the “God gene” which is basically this highly advanced ability that alien scientists were able to manipulate and due to harness the power of creation and the cosmos. And basically something happens to earth that causes a ripple across the planet that sets of the God gene like shock waves or like a nuclear explosion going off it containments the atmosphere which causes disturbances in the fabric of reality itself and basically ‘contaminates’ the atmosphere which basically causes ‘mutations’ which would be like in Marvel and X-men I guess, except the explanation is more original and differs quite a bit and there’s some aspects to it that cause other irregularities.

But see it’s highly unpredictable and causes a lot of undesirable mutations many of which aren’t particularly useful. One common mutation is that it causes individuals to ‘evolve’ or ‘devolve’ in a different manner then predicted, and to like grow hair everywhere or become like a beast or animal or like a monkey basically.

The thing is this extinct race of people
I imagined, the God gene isn’t as unpredictable or even as disastrous and dangerous to them for some reason. When effected by it, it can make them incredibly strong and bring out desirable (to many) effects

Basically to in the very distant past, this race of people were prone or more often able to utilize power from the ‘God gene’

Mostly powers like in Akira, not quite outright psychic I guess but related and similar, like UGh *eyeroll* le Superman and kryptonians. Except often times they aren’t super or extraordinarily gifted with powers and abilities.

They race of people would also in general be more likely to be intuitive, are peaceful and have a strong connection to nature and the planet. They are basically supposed to serve as guardians of the planet, they have an intuitive connection-link to the planet.

I have some more ideas for aliens I was thinking instead of just one alien make it so that in the distant past there is an intergalactic war in space and the earth almost becomes involved in some way, but the earth is not necessarily advanced enough to defend itself completely.

I was not sure if I should make this group taut monsoon comes from, to have them be advanced ever technologically in time, because I kind of feel that might be too much like Superman. So instead, I was favouring this idea that they’re not technologically advanced necessarily but they’re really advanced holistically and ways like that, in an organic sense. They would basically be like indigenous people I guess. Which is pretty unique/ differs enough from Superman.

I like this overall. I think it’s quite original and differs and sets itself apart from Superman just enough.


I was kind of thinking what the general feeling from all that actually is and I feel like it’s not exactly homogenous or super “white seeming” for sure, I don’t know if it seems too colored or not basically. I would feel like it’s almost colored, Asian seeming but then almost kind of something like Native American, I don’t know about black though.

It’s kind of wild and out there isn’t it?

The idea of this “race” or group of people or whatever you call them this creed of people I wonder if a lot of people wouldn’t like the implications of that and see it as being a racist story idea, or if white people would find it very offensive. But I worry about an outcome like that because it’s such a different kind of backstory.

I take a lot from Japanese fiction honestly, so I don’t know if take makes it brazen or “colored” or something

Basically it would be hard to portray the backstory and general idea for a character as somehow not seeming to “ethnic” or something like that I would struggle with the right way to do the colors, angles, perception outright in general, which makes me think the obvious answer would be to look at how the Japanese portray some of their media and try to emulate that, but another thing is I don’t want to seem to brazenly eastern copying and being seen that way or know for that. I want to seem and come across sort of Western too. It’s really important to me to do that.

But I just worry I’ll easily come across as colored unless I don’t change my style and perspective to fit a homogenous white image.
