>>22980509I'm not sure if it was factual. And you can't just kill people like that. A lightbulb probably requires enough voltage to hurt someone but not enough to kill them. And we don't even use the electric chair anymore. Everything needs to be "humane" still. That's why it costs so much according to the logic my highschool mate said. Lots of paperwork besides procuring the actual means for the purposes of "humanely" executing someone instead of just tying someone down and pouring bleach down their forcibly open mouth.
On the other hand, if we really did just want to kill people like that, a few rounds of ammunition would be much cheaper anyway. Or, if we're going to bury them post-mortem, might as well as do it pre-mortem or whatever. But, as I said, as a first world country, we're really into this "humane termination" of life thing.
