>>22989739Hi again. I'm assuming
>>22992807 is also you. What do you mean coolest thing I– Oh, you mean Uni. I dunno. Linguistics maybe? You really do and don't learn why we do things the way we do and don't in L1 English (L1 stands for Language 1 which is your mother tongue/first language you learn). But back to what I learned, I really don't know. I've only just went through my second semester of Lehramt (teacher's credentials – it is a combined BA and MA program) with the subjects of English and French.
English classes are luckily in English. But last semester's literature seminar, the lady professor was insistent on pushing her nu-Progressive agenda or something but that went over my head i.e. didn't make any sense. But, for example, the largest book that we were supposed to read was just "nigger Amazon-Casanova sex worker theater" fanfic so I refused to read it and luckily it wasn't really in the test. This last semester was linguistics and mostly pretty interesting but a little boring as it goes much into theoretics explaining the English language and its evolutions.
And French classes are FUBAR –really just because they're all in German so I don't understand much. So, when during my first semester French linguistics seminar, there was just presentations of slide after slide just of a wall of words, I knew I was fucked. Less so, but there were similar difficulties in this last semester of French Lit. I didn't pass the first semester (and probably also not literature) but we'll see if my autistic ADHD ass can't go to the disability center and apply for like a tutor or something. Luckily, all the French professors are on my side and encouraging me to pass this study program as they recognize I speak French at least half decently sacré bleu mdr.
And thank you for reading my blog.
