This show was very impressive in its day.
Lots of kooky behaviour.
Lots of interaction with the 4th wall.
There's a lot to be said about a cartoon from the 90s that made it to a second season.
I mean, come on! Batman makes a cameo appearance! This was just an early taste of the whole show, and DC approved. That was canonically pretty hip of a program. Freakazoid! Is a great centerpiece for a program that told a story with a narrative, and rewarded tuning in.
