I watch anime on my tv and sometimes it defaults to dub so I usually hear the first 30 seconds or so before switching. Some of the english voice actors are fine but the rest are so inferior it's not even funny, they sound like they're just phoning it in. so actually it's not really a language problem (though it can be) but the inferior vas that makes dub shit in comparison to sub. the jap vas really know how to sound passionate about the silliest things.
