What kind of christian am I if I'm not afraid of Hell?
It's been a while without a retarded anti-religion thread (which is nice), so I thought about asking this for serious answers (as far as possible)
>What kind of christian am I if I'm not afraid of Hell?
My question is simple. I'm not even afraid of death, especially if sacrifice is a pay to price for a greater good. And I think something like that when I think about going to Hell for doing something that could be considered "bad", but that "bad" actually end up leading to a greater good
Can I be even considered "christian" after this way of thinking?
Am I an heretic? a possible apostate?
>"Nuh-hu dude, you're just being less retarded for starting to not believe in Daddy Sky"
That kind of answer is pointless, so save your breath to shittalk on other thread, rabbi

it seems like you could easily be misled into doing actually bad things, with this way of thinking
i would be careful about that
also, i don't know what the deal is about "blaspheming against the holy spirit", but i think if you're afraid of doing it then it's impossible, or something like that
you might want to read CS lewis, things like the screwtape letters & the space trilogy
it can be helpful if you're very introspective about these things

I'll see what to do, thank you very much

Well, there has been people with some sort of similarity to that way of thinking. My best example is the Iron Guard of Romania. They were christians, no doubt about it. Orthodox if I'm not wrong, but christians at the end of the day. The had an oath that was something like this:
>Even if the Iron Guard is sent to Hell, we will remain united. After the successful conquest of Hell, we would return victorious to now conquest our homeland!
It inspires me even now

I am fairly certain depending on what subgroup of christianity you follow not fearing death isn't an issue at all
however i do agree with what

said in that the thought process behind it can prove dangerous if left unchecked, although that's more of a you thing

I'm aware. When you're on confirmation (on catholic churches at least), they warn you that as a christian you might be persecuted and killed. Even if it's hard to know how many of my "brothers in Christ" are actually as tenacious as myself to endure that, I guess that's the point on warning, so you'll know what could happen to you
> the thought process behind it can prove dangerous if left unchecked
That danger would be a thing if I lose my morality, because there's things I would never do even if I can walk away without being arrested and condemned. For instance, I would never rape or murder just for sadistic desires. I guess you got the idea

I mean, I guess they were making an exaggeration, lol. And that exaggeration would be for a reason, for the state of the world and their country at those times, with the bolshevik menace lurking every corner of eastern Europe

idk, man. i wish i was closer to God, but my arrogance is getting in the way. i've recently just been paying attention to the antediluvian lineage, and how man's downfall is displayed through their arrogance and willful ignorance of God. how man started to go his own way, becoming successful in ways which benefitted man, but not in ways which praised the Lord. why the preflood society was wicked, except for Enoch of Seth's bloodline, and had to see God's wrath. i think about it now, in modern terms. rather than tubal-cain, master artificer of metals, or jubal, master of music, we have our own celebrities which we end up idolizing for various reasons. one thing i can't help but pay attention to, is the saying, "don't meet your heroes," as if this is a warning that realizes the inherent wickedness in man and his arrogant attempt to become more than what God will allow him to be. then, i go onto the blue hobby boards on 4chan, and much of the discourse is just pointless authoritative "i-know-better-than-you" arguments, or even "i-am-better-than-you-because-you-can't-do-this". it all just feels like wickedness, especially because we are all born in iniquity and therefore nobody has the right to say they are better than anyone else.
idk, i want to repent, but i always feel so afraid of losing what little i already have. i keep putting God off and pushing him aside to keep indulging in my arrogance, but also beg and plea for His presence. i don't know.

What do you have and why you would lose it if you become closer to God?
