I don't know what counts as an obscure country. Namibia I guess? I haven't been anywhere like to the Pacific Islands even though I want to. As for the most interesting thing I guess a triple rainbow? I found that to be pretty cool when I saw it. I saw Pioneering Spirit, riots in Africa, ship wrecks towed into port, force 10 seas but you kind of get used to that stuff even if its cool. I'll probably see more stuff since I'm not planning on quitting.

Its not really possible to modernize Daria, her outlook and shitty pessimistic attitude is just a late 90s thing, she wants to be disappointed by things. The moment you introduce the internet and cellphones to this dynamic it ruins the everything because Daria actually had to interact with people in the real world and if modern technology exists she just becomes a recluse neet.
