CS anon here. I have had cold sores since I was a child before I ever kissed anybody. Either my mother or my grandmother that both had them kissed me during an outbreak or shared a utensil with me. Perhaps it was a side effect of a vaccine (shingles is a side effect of vaccines and that's the same thing). Well, anyway, I haven't had one of these little niggers on my face in 7 years and I thought maybe it was gone permanently, it wasn't. I had a 24 hour flu and immediately after that got a cold sore and I caught it quickly. I have a very old and expired bottle of Acyclovir (herpe pills that work really well) but it expired 7 years ago. I took them anyway and they worked just fine. Another stupid pharma tactic to get you to buy more pills even though they are very shelf stable. Discuss.

Those oracle 1-application glass vials with the swab work really well. Benzalkonium chloride in isopropyl alcohol. Made a bunch to give to relatives. They say they feel the sores either went away permanently or they really got less frequent.

Cold sores and other open wounds in the mouth heal fast with hydrogen peroxide rinse.

Dipping your face in a mild hydrogen peroxide solution (< 1%) clears face bacteria that causes flaking, e.g. beardruff.

You sound like a retard. Anyway, get the antiviral tablets from the chemist, and combine them with antiviral cream, when you feel a coldsore coming (inb4 this is le bad and causes giga-aids etc).

Also remain healthy, eat vegetables, get some sun but not too much, maybe take lysine/magsneedium/zinc idk.

i get them, my grandma gave them to me before i was 3 months old by kissing on me. i think some of us are too fucking pretty and instead of us mogging everyone as adults 24/7 god made herpes and knew women would be attracted to us as babies and would give us herpes, basically giving the world a break from our beauty for a few days every few months

Once I discovered as much as 83% of the world has some form of HSV, I stopped giving a shit about cold sores. Sadly, to avoid them I have to keep a constant seal on my lips with vaseline or aquaphor.

If I go even a couple hours without my lip smear, my lips literally begin to blister and ooze. When I first developed the shit, I would wake up with my mouth crusted shut from the ooze.

Best quick remedy is DMSO, q-tip application to the affected area. Apply 3 times a day. Bump will recede and disappear within 5-7 days. Body gets used to fighting it as well, so less occurrences as time goes on. Goes from appearing once every few months to once a year, to once in a blue moon.

Internal remedy: Umckaloabo extract, liquid. Kills HSV-1 cells in blood. Use in conjunction with DMSO. Also, utilize L-lyseine and curucumin as they both have strong anti-viral properties against HSV-1.

Those supplements are all you need.

I had my first ever cold sore about 5 years ago (I’m 50 now). I think I contracted it by giving this older woman I know a quick peck. I then had this small pimple-like nodule form on my lower lip. After which, every time my immune system got stressed, a cold sore would pop up. A year or so ago I decided to try a folk remedy (it was the first thing I ever tried). When it started to erupt that last time, I started packing a poultice of mashed up fresh garlic on my lip and holding it there until I could no longer bear the pain (fresh garlic burns on contact with you mouth). I did this like 3 times a day for a week.
Not only did it work, but the small pimple like nodule that’s been on my lip for 5 years completely disappeared. I feel like it’s totally gone. It hasn’t even tingled since that garlic remedy. Even right now I’m fighting off some sort of virus that absolutely would have triggered it prior to the garlic poultice trick.
I highly recommend this. Garlic is a natural anti viral. I’m basically certain that it’s gone. I can’t feel the slightest tingle and no sign at all of its return.

1. Tea Tree oil is gods gift to mankind, it is the perfect giver of health through the eradication of all viruses, bacteria, and even against encapsulated varieties, while running no risk other than possible skin irritation if you’re sensitive to it; dilution in a carrier oil such as coconut will solve that issue. I’ve seen this stuff stop an active shingles outbreak(near eyes) dead in its tracks, clear up horrific tooth abscesses and even brown recluse spider bites(use a needle to pierce the black, then stick a q-tip w/oil in there). Whereas even bleach/alcohol/peroxides take seconds to minutes for total microbial death, tea tree oil destroys in only milliseconds(as researched/reported during the COVID hand sanitizer shortage).

Also, you can get cold sores from sharing chapstick, food, or drinks with those who are actively displaying infection. Back in kindergarten, I lost out on my half of a snack many times because the teacher insisted that we bite it in half and share the other with our assigned buddy, which I wouldn’t do, due to germs and general cooties.

I get cold sores.
I regularly take lysine supplements to suppress them along with avoiding foods high in arginine and try to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Any time I feel tingling in the face around my mouth I load up on 3-5 grams of lysine and fish oil and apply docosanol. It goes away within a day and a half as opposed to two weeks. It also reduces chances of further breakouts.
Starve the virus and it stops reproduction.
