Very true. I've apologised many times but it's all for naught because I just do it again and again. We are bad people and we deserve no sympathy or pity. Not that all of what I said is inaccurate but sometimes things should just go unsaid even if they are true. For example she doesn't call me a weirdo even though that's true. You could argue that it would be bad for optics and that's the only reason she doesn't say it which is fair, but maybe she doesn't want to unnecessarily hurt people's feelings, even when those same people hurt hers. A lot of this is on her. She doesn't value fixing the quality of the stream enough for her viewers to A/B test this stuff before going out for the day. She had no clue where bitrate settings EVEN WHERE on her streaming setup and it's been a while now. I'm not that much of a die hard binx viewer I guess, but when she has these persistent problems I just go do something else. I don't sit through it for long. I'm assuming other more casual viewers do the same, especially recent arrivals. It's got to be costing her views and growth. She has the time to work on it, or have others work on it. She's meeting all these other streamers who seem to have things working much better, why not get their advice or at least contacts and options for tech support? and when you try something new accept that you'll need to configure it a bit and it's not just going to magically work perfectly.

the one thing i'll add to this, is that she IS in work mode, and the trip was extended because of the connections that could come from the twitch con meetup. It does make things complicated if relations go sour with someone, or there's some kind of weird awkwardness that transpires with someone who is a part of this relatively close knit irl group that she wants to join, be respected and seen as professional among. I have no idea how she really would act in private, but she does seem to be someone who values a certain level of being professional while "at work". It's frustrating to watch. I want her to do well and grow. Every time she gets ahead it seems like she doesn't cash in on the momentum for some reason or there's a handful of things which could easily be resolved or changed with some time which get in the way. I'm trying hard not to be mean in any criticism I make these days and keeping it constructive. I wish she'd spend some time watching other popular streamers and taking a critical eye to what works and doesn't work. To me it feels like a lot of the time she's doing what she wants and also streaming some of it when she feels like it sometimes. That's not a job, and it's not how business works.

If I was her I'd pick 5 big streamers and watch 3 of their streams end to end and try to take notes on at least 5 things she thinks they did well or the audience responded to well, and at least 5 things she thinks didn't work or weren't good from an viewer perspective. Look at the list of all the things at the end of all these streams then try and implement it into her own streams. And do more real planning and research too. I know she's been half assing that side of the job for a while, I don't think that's debatable.

I've said it before, most of us only like Binx because we were exposed to her through Fishtank. Fishtank is a very unique experience. Not only can you observe someone 24/7 but the insane setting of FT, especially S3, makes it very easy to become attached to a contestant on the show. Binx was always going to struggle gaining viewers who didn't already know her. Binx's personality doesn't shine in first impressions, even if she had stable irls and came up with interesting stream ideas, she wouldn't be able to grow a sizable audience. There are simply too many female streamers to chose from, many of whom are legitimately funny, good at their respective hobby's that they stream, or they cater to coomers. Binx doesn't have much to offer in comparison to any other successful streamer, male or female.

The truth is, as many have said in the past, including Binx herself. She is in this for the money.

And although Binx has yet to admit this, she is more than content to slowly milk the last drops from her fanbase until it dwindles completely and she can use her connections to move on to her next project.
