while we were all getting in the van, i heard the PCP guy yell "I GOT A MACHINE GUN!", and when i looked out the window he was holding an invisible LMG and pointing it at the van, which he continued to do as we drove off
everyone was laughing by that point, but they were freaked out until the driver showed up

trip was cool overall though, i saw bernie sanders give a speech about the defense budget being too high when i was in the senate chamber
it was like going to a zoo, except you're looking down at politicians instead of animals
they had some crazy fucking metal detector-esque stuff before they let you in there, and if you make ANY noise or distraction you get kicked out immediately

well it was a small town school, my class only had like 15 people in it anyway
several of the students were from another branch/location of the same school, of which there were three
i was one of the 3 students from my class of 15 who went on the trip, the other 5 were from other locations/classes
there were 8 kids on the trip, 7 besides me
