25 years in MS paint would have been more efficient

i feel you
sometimes i wish we had the technology
but then you realize humans have been programmable slave robots since the 1920s with the psychoanalysts
there's never not been warlords at the top, it just gets more obscure as time goes on, along with the warfare

it's not that much effort though
it might take some initial effort, but it's not like you'll need to solve a puzzle in the future for every image you want to convert

if i have no do anything more than what i previously needed to for decades then its too much effort. it was nice and convenient and didnt need to change for any reason

my favorite animal is a mimic octopus, but honestly you have really good taste. I love chickens, I want to have a flock some day when I have my own land. Do you have any chickens yourself?

Raccoons. They have little hands!

in that case, you could make a browser extension which adds "save as PNG" or "save as JPG" options next to the regular save image button, which just saves the image normally, feeds it to ffmpeg for conversion, and deletes the original
then it'd be just as convenient as before, with some extra initial effort

they'll open doors & latches, you often have to use padlocks to keep them out of places

Not OP, but I hatched a chicken from a store bought refrigerated egg. I modified my Creepy Crawlers oven to be an incubator. I would put the shell in the frying pan a little each morning, for like 10 seconds, and Crack other eggs next to it for my breakfast. I never mixed them up. My egg hatched into a beautiful white and gold rooster, that I named Rocky Cockatoo. After a few weeks my parents took him to my grandparents friend's farm on the outskirts of town. I was 6 years old.

that's awesome, I don't think eggs bought here in the states can be fertile and hatch unless you bought locally . Chickens are super cute, got to take care of them at a farm shop I helped manage a couple years back, thanks for sharing I hope to hatch my own some day.
