I made a post yesterday discussing how my dog died because I put them down due to bone cancer (osteosarcoma) as they could not walk anymore, she was in immense pain, could not sleep at all, one leg was 2-3x size of other and pain meds did not work anymore. It progressed extremely rapidly in a few weeks I would not wish it on my worst enemy. From limping to absolutely cooked in under 2 weeks. They went away peacefully in a few seconds in a private room with me and family with a very kind vet and tech and I gave them a good life and did all I could. I cried a lot and took lots of pictures and videos of her. Now she's in a better place with no pain. Rip.

I asked for your stories here and so many gave heartfelt stories of your experiences with your pets passing and it was helpful to read. I hope all you anons have your pets go to pet heaven and that you love your current pets. Many of you clearly are loving pet owners unlike that commie Hasan who treats his dog like a Palestinian

If you guys want to share stories here about your pets let us talk about it. Pets is political cause Chinese eat dogs and haitians eat but and we don't cause we are humane.

Pic related is my dog on last day still smiling and doing best to be cheerful. She was 14 and I had her for 12 years after adoption. Best behaved dog ever had never growled at me a single time no matter what.

My German shepherd lived to 14 years old I had put down in September. 14 years we’ve spent together, and I was broken when I realize I might not ever see him again. My depression made my other German shepherd depressed I think he stopped eating so I cheered up for him and he’s good now. But baron was the best soul, my soul mate, I rescued him from a neighbors chicken coop where they kept him 24/7, gave him what I hope was a really fulfilling life. Had a lot of medical issues and I spent thousands on him but would do it again. Those who still have them you might not realize what you had, how much you really loved them until they’re gone. I miss him every day.

All of it happened because my psychiatrist reported me to the police. I regret seeking help for my mental illness. I regret trusting shrinks and I especially regret talking to the police. I did nothing wrong and still got massively fucked over.

I swear to God I’ll never talk to the police again. Even if there’s a baby dying on the side of the road, I won’t report it. Fuck cops.
