prolly me who brought it up. very few people understand that "lemonade" without oleo saccharum is not lemonade.
its mostly only used in bartending these days and even then only in high end cocktail bars.

yes that's exactly right it draws the oils out.
its also amazing for iced tea because u can get a lot of lemon flavour without making it too acidic :)
I think most ppl just a use couple drops of lemon extract in like 500ml of simple syrup as an easy sub these days but I think its worth making ur own the traditional way if its for like a jug or 2 of lemonade not serving 200 drunk assholes.
