yeah but, wouldn't it be "even" instead of "evens" then?
two evens in a row would be 25% chance, i think
bleh....

A randomly generated 8 digit no has a 5% chance of ending in even dubs

No of possible 8 digit nos without 0 as the first digit = 9000000
No of dubs possible = 10
Possibility for 1st digit = 1 to 9 = 9
Possibility for the next 5 difits = 1 to 9 AND 0 = 10
Therefore no of favourable outcome = 9× 10 to the power 5 × 10
Possibility of dubs = (9 × 10 to the power 6 / 9 × 10 to the power 7) ×100
Which is 10%
Since only even dubs so divide that by 2 and answer 5%

ill give you a hint

the number of digits in the number doesn't matter cause we're only looking at the last 2 digits. It would be the same if it was a 30 digit number

there are 100 possible outcomes for the last 2 digits (0-99)
10 of them are dubs (00, 11, 22)
5 of them are even dubs (00, 22, 44, 66, 88)

you came to the right conclusion. but im convinced it was on accident cause your math doesnt make sense.

i hope you understand that this is babble

I know you are low IQ. But I'm convinced that even you can understand this. We are only looking at the last 2 digits.

If you're not convinced and need some visual proof, cause you are a baboon, go here, and set the min to 1 billion and max to 100 trillion or whatever. You'll see that the last 2 digits will often repeat, it's actually a 10% chance regardless of how many digits the number has as long as all numerical options (0-9) are available for the last digit to be.

I'd say something along the lines of "don't drop out of highschool kids!", but I don't think this sort of stupidity can be un-taught.

You don't have to be a nerd to understand that each digit behaves independently in a randomly generated number.
Anonymous (ID: bX558cui) India No.23590509 [Report]
>>23590482
>We are only looking at the last 2 digits
EXCEPT THAT THE NUMBERS CANNOT REPEAT
so how many different numbers possible with a 3 digit slot? 9×10×10
And how many different possible numbers with an 8 digit slot? 9×10 to the power 7

>each digit behaves independently in a randomly generated number.
Yes but if I'm fucking talking about the possibility of getting dubs with randomly generated 8 digit no then the fact that the no is 8 digit or matters because it affects the no of possible outcomes and favorable outcomes
So fucknig stupid
Anonymous (ID: jKrnh4Jh) Greece No.23590534 [Report]
>>23590517
it affects the number of possible outcomes but the outcomes for the digits that AREN'T the last 2 are irrelevant, so it doesnt matter. The only relevant outcomes are the last 2 digits AKA 0-99, regardless of if we have an 8 digit number or 80 digit number. ITS RANDOMLY GENERATED.

Please go ask chatgpt or deepseek or pooseek or whatever the fuck you indians use and try arguing with the AI once it says you're wrong cause I'm not wasting any more time trying to talk sense into a caveman.
