I feel like I never hear about people getting reexamined anyway. I think I'll go for PTSD or something they can say I'm cured of

Sick call will be a tough one since providers probably wrote "patient demonstrated understanding" or something to that effect following a line about OP being instructed to follow up if X or seek further care at X. Not to mention ETS physical closed it all out too.

No deployments. I was in Germany for my entire time and a couple months in Poland. I definitely got pain medicine and sinus medicine over my time but nothing appears in my medical record on the VA site when I look it up. Maybe mental health would be my best bet? have self harm scars from when I was depressed in the army and am thinking I can say I have PTSD from that when I look at them.

Yeah I never got an ETS physical. Was very weird. I think it was because the clinic on my base in Germany was small. It wasn't like sick call on a normal base

Someone somewhere had to have signed the ETS physical off for you to have cleared out man. Your records aren't showing probably because the software used for medical care changed and a lot of stuff didn't carry over like it was supposed to.

t. Worked at the clinic you're talking about

I get that, but in practice it was more like I had a checklist and just dropped it off at the clinic the be initialed/signed off. Alot of people getting out had similar experiences with it all being a shitshow
22 year old me just assumed I'd go there and they'd sign it at the desk. That's probably all that happened too, without anyone looking into what being cleared to get out actually means

I think a doc skimmed your last encounters and concluded your career was complete. You can fight it but will most likely require signed statements from people you were in with stating you were all fucked up. Had a friend of mine ask me to write something like that but it was a lie so I said no. Similar situation as you, looking for compensation after discharge. My honest opinion, see if the VA can help. You might learn more from them if you can secure an appointment.

Your best bet is to submit a FOIA request for all your medical records. The Tricare portal that would've had your DoD stuff quite literally just shut down late April. The VA and DoD records are firewalled which is why you don't see anything on va.gov. nothing is necessarily impossible but it will be difficult for you. For instance, I said I didn't have tinnitus when I was clearing which went into my record, but I was able to claim it a decade later. I was just retarded when I ets'd as a kid.

Get the ball rolling by going to your VA doctor frequently. Talk to great length about your mental health in the military and why you chose not to go to sick hall. Mention all this in great detail for a few months then submit a claim for mental health on va.gov. they will cite everything you discuss in your doctor's notes at the VA. Be consistent and describe your worst day of symptoms. Go to knowva.ebenefits.va.gov and look up all the criteria for your condition/conditions you want to claim. Also, free advice sinusitis stuff isn't worth chasing unless your shit is mega fucked. Hit the mental health stuff hard

Yeah I'll look into some buddy letters, I think If I can get my history of getting painkillers I might have a case for something. Mental stuff I hear is just up to the VA doc who sees you, according to my friends. Here's hoping something works out
>Had a friend of mine ask me to write something like that but it was a lie so I said no
Yeah I wouldn't ask anyone to lie for me, that's kind of a dick move

The easiest way is to use the VA homeloan to get a duplex or quad plex then rent it out to tenants. Invest some of that cash into crypto. If you're 100% like me you can use all your freebies to find an easy way to make more money to invest like a part time or social media. Im going to try to become a fitness influencer but if you have an interest in anything start posting about it on YouTube, tiktok, and Instagram. Try to be funny. Collect ad money and rep brands.

Yeah same here. I planned on just backpacking until I ran out of money then kms, but COVID hit and I went home and changed my mind. Was a retard who though I didn't care about anything so fucked myself for the future.
>FOIA request for all your medical records.
Will do thanks
>Also, free advice sinusitis stuff isn't worth chasing unless your shit is mega fucked.
Yeah but I think sinusitis or rhinitis is probably my best case since I had a prescription so even if it gets nothing at least I look legitimate. Same with my self harm scars not getting me anything, still want it documented

Unironically you should have been a tranny. Every single tranny in the military getting ejected is about to get 100% P&T for life for ptsd, anxiety, etc. They just have to make sure they are seen in California, and whammo. And I’m not even mad - some of these bitches served like 14 or 18 years only to get force ejected because of prejudice.

You dont know VA comp works dumbass. The VA budget is earmarked every fiscal year for exactly this purpose. And every year the VA budget increases. You arent taking away anything from anyone. The money is already sitting there waiting. Theres always leftover reserves.

>>60495827
Anything documented that has happened to you in service is considered service connected. Did you go to mental health on base to report this? If not, you need a nexus statement or a buddy statement to convince the rater that it is service connected.
