It's very true. The vast majority of the people in America are very broke. Not to make you stagnant, but look at the median net worth of someone in their 30s in America
>>60496676 (OP) It is true but keep in mind the average American is fucking retarded financially and saves almost nothing.
By 65 loads of people are almost entirely dependent on social security. Another chunk will have equity in their house because they got a mortgage and were forced to save. Once you get to whoever also saved whatever the default 5, 10% contribution to the company 401k that's easily better than 80% of people.

>>60496676 (OP) That's the AVERAGE which means it'll include the billionaire dudes with Dad's money. A better way to tell what's really going on is look at the MEAN.
Mean Net Savings=Mean Savings−Mean Debt
Mean Net Savings=$20,540−$30,170=−$9,630
With these stats, the more realistic average 30 year old has about -10k in savings

>>60496676 (OP) It's quite interesting because it seems that in the US 1 million doesn't make you rich because of the cost of life in general that went parabolic in the last years but most people are super broke which means that inequalities are extreme and the middle class is globally dead now. This is fucking grim, in the end the best play is to leave the country isn't it ?
