>>60496871 (OP)Never owned crypto but when I was 23 my then wife and I had about 25k of my money in the NASDAQ. When we got divorced, some combination of pity for her (as a grad student living off a small stipend) and fear that she’d ask for alimony, I offered to let her take the portfolio. Then a few months from there I started dating someone else, and everything seemed to be doing better. After six months, I got a new apartment that cost 3k a month, and my new gf moved in, claiming she’d be able to contribute half. Then she got laid off immediately and spend the next six months smoking pot and gaining 100 pounds from pizza while crying about gender dysphoria, all while I’m stuck paying 3k a month on a 12 month lease. Eventually I broke up with her because holy shit. Long story short, I’m 26 now, and I can finally put away 2 to 3 grand a month. It’s a shame I hadn’t been doing this for the past four years, but that’s what I get for trusting mentally ill ex’s.
