Oh look, another day of traditional markets being up while altcoins are down big! For any people out there who are holding alts long-term, let me give you some advice: Sell your alts and swing trade triple-leveraged index funds (like SOXL/SOXS) instead. Just because you love a project doesn't mean you need to hold the coin. Here are some of the benefits:
* Higher liquidity
* No big fees on trades
* Easy to take either a long or short position
* Very tradable price action

Altcoins are not for buying and holding. While altcoins are usually going down (with just small spurts of upward movement very infrequently), traditional markets are almost always going up.

Who knows, maybe "altcoin season" is just around the corner, but think of the opportunity cost of waiting all these years for it while traditional markets keep grinding higher. Traditional markets have hit new all time highs frequently in the last year and a half; your favorite altcoin is probably still down about 70% from it's peak nearly four years ago!

I sold my alts eariler this year and now I actually make money and don't hate my life. Just something to consider; I guess you need to make your own decision. The universe is trying to teach you a lesson and you continue to suffer because you are being obstinate; altcoin markets belong to the bears. Accept it and don't fight it.

I get your sentiment, but I'm not a boomer that needs you buy into the status quo. I want alts to succeed (at least those with utility), but I want to make a good return on my money even more. If alts get some momentum, I'll be happy to jump in. Sitting around waiting for something to happen probably hasn't worked out for most people though.

Alts don't seem to go up on good news, don't seem to go up with the boomer markets, and dump much harder on bad news.No reason to hold them long-term. ADA limit buy order set at $0.4780 to catch the dead cat bounce of the drop that is currently happening.
