This feels like capitulation from Digital Asset/Canton. I remember attending their webinars and they'd refuse to even mention Chainlink. They'd mention Axelar, Wormhole and other solutions but never Chainlink. I'd ask about CCIP in the Q&A and they wouldn't answer me. I'll never forget the look on Yuval's face at SIBOS when Alexandre Kech (SIX Digital Exchange) starts talking about the need for bridging and interoperability solutions. Canton thought they could be the complete system for everyone and there would be no need for bridges outside of Canton. Alexandre put him in the cuck corner that day.

This literally explicitly mentions Canton privately licensing Chainlink software for price feeds. This is great for Chainlink the company but completely divorced from the LINK token and a basically complete affirmation of what all of the worst fudders have been saying about it just being about private agreements and price feeds with zero impact on the token holders. CCIP opens up the free use of other networks in value transport but this itself does not natively use the LINK token nor will it ever. What a fucked thesis to have.

SBI objectively uses XRP in multiple of its divisions including their digital assets division, are the largest outside shareholder in Ripple, do a XRP section in every shareholder report, their CEO talks about how bitcoin is not a big value but XRP and actual utility coins are (and constantly shares Ripple/XRP/OMNI (Austin King's (who is one of two coders who created Ripple's Interledger Protocol) new company/network) shit online all the time, and formed a joint company with Ripple literally called "SBI Ripple Asia" owning 60% vs. Ripple's 40 to buildout remittances in Asian countries, using XRP in multiple corridors. Why lie in such a low IQ zero effort provable way?

In the highlighted portion of pictures fo the documents in the linked Twitter post. The CCIP not using link to settle is established. The SWIFT trial explicitly talked about how it opens up SWIFT to use whichever settlement oriented private or public ledger to settle. There are a dozen that are more cost efficient and fast than LINK (particularly wrt micropayments) and there is zero incentive to do so, they tested multiple in the trial, Link has no rails set up for payment, etc. so why would they?

Your assumption is completely false.

CRE would require an additional fee and its not even mentioned in the highlighted text.

On another note, nothing is powered by Chainlink. Wormhole powers more RWA's than Chainlink and Platforms (RWA.io) will eventually have their own proprietary interop systems. This is why Sergey said they have two years until a better product comes along.

Wormhole powers more RWA's than Chainlink this is a FACT. (source:rwa.io)
I assume they will make their own solutions (inferred from Sergey) or someone will build one, or they will use Chainlink without the LINK token.

If you want an oracle feed you don't have to pay for it by default. Look at Hyperliquid, it uses a weighted average of prices from different exchanges. They don't pay for anything.

>how do you know that a "smart contract automated pricing system" with "network fees" by swift don't have oracles fees?
I don't know, I will assume it doesn't until there is proof they will pay for anything.

>why do you believe that the likes of hyperledger besu and canton network has any gas fees?
They could or couldn't. The paper was likely talking about public ledgers.

Also explain to me the oracle feeds for pic related. Does Chainlink power these too? You don't think SWIFT could use their own in-house oracles like these protocols? The writing on already on the wall you just refuse to look.
