This feels like capitulation from Digital Asset/Canton. I remember attending their webinars and they'd refuse to even mention Chainlink. They'd mention Axelar, Wormhole and other solutions but never Chainlink. I'd ask about CCIP in the Q&A and they wouldn't answer me. I'll never forget the look on Yuval's face at SIBOS when Alexandre Kech (SIX Digital Exchange) starts talking about the need for bridging and interoperability solutions. Canton thought they could be the complete system for everyone and there would be no need for bridges outside of Canton. Alexandre put him in the cuck corner that day.

The SWIFT trial explicitly talked about how it opens up SWIFT to use whichever settlement oriented private or public ledger to settle. If you want an oracle feed you don't have to pay for it by default. Look at Hyperliquid, it uses a weighted average of prices from different exchanges. They don't pay for anything.
