>$300,000 for a fish
>Once the fry reach a suitable size (usually around 5-10 cm), they can be sold. Prices for juvenile Arowanas can range from €20 to €200 each, depending on the species and market demand.

More typically €1000 or so.

I used to see these in tanks all the time when I lived in Taiwan. I had no idea they were illegal in the U.S. (because "endangered"). FFS the main reason these fish AREN'T endangered any more (in captivity) is because of all the fish enthusiasts who have been breeding them. Can't do shit about habitat destruction and overfishing that made them "threatened" in the wild.

>Can't do shit about habitat destruction and overfishing that made them "threatened" in the wild.

99% of all species that ever existed, don't
Suppose only 1% survived until now
Most archaic species are like 100-300M yo
Assume 1% goes extinct for every 99% we find

> There are an estimated 8.7 million organisms alive today, of which only around 1.2 million have been recorded, including 950,000 animal species. The estimates are based on trends in biodiversity data to predict the total number of species at different taxonomic levels. It makes sense then that around 18,000 new species are discovered every year.

So we discover 18000 new things every year, and there will be at least 180 things going extinct every year. This ratio is not correct anyway, with stable populations new species equal old species, but let's assume 180 animals go extinct yearly.

Why all the drama?

Its part of the climate change NWO agenda. Always has been. Can you believe boomers believed in acid rain? Soon we'll be laughed at for believing in """""fossil"""" fuels.

Yes, and coincidentally, we don't get enough these days and the soil has become too alkaline in my region. Even the groundwater is too alkaline, you water with it and make things worse, because there is no new rain.

It was a good time. However I would consider psychoactive (legal) cactus farming (in Europe) more potentially lucrative, considering you can even grow Peyote legally. The issue is processing it for drugs. Like if you sell knives the other guy is to blame for actually stabbing. This all being said, again, the shrimp farming era was spectacular.

Incredible stuff. These are the same people that tell you to save your money like good little bitch don't do anything more than going to an occasional jew movie theater so you can start to gracefully expire at 59.5 off your retirement fund. Fuck them. Literally made it doing the opposite of everything they said.
