Reading through their technical docs, it seems the ICP network and node operators benefit from the ICP token remaining cheap and stable. It's used much like AWS compute or Azure credits. They want computation on the ICP network to be competitive with major cloud providers, if not even cheaper! So I wouldn't be investing in ICP for sick gains. I would be investing in it to build upon the network however, so layer 2 dapps etc. They might be a good investment in the future. It's an ambitious project and I think it's technically very interesting.

One thing I do not like however, is their claims that the ICP network is "immune to cyberattack". Nobody is immune to cyberattack. Making such grandiose claims actually makes me want to cyberattack them. They should be careful with such language, lest they attract a smartass to prove them wrong
