I bought my house in 2014. it is almost paid off now. I guess I'll just have to pay no rent or mortgage soon and keep all my money besides the property taxes but that's doable. I guess I am pretty based and you are pretty poor. You can look at my house on Google Maps if you want. I don't mind.

The mortgage is typically great value; you pay interest on an asset which appreciates in value, at a fixed rate, which gets eaten by inflation over time. Its a fucken no lose.

Look; take a mortgage. Oooh its a lot of money a lot of interest. In 20 years though, you would have had to pay that money anyway in rent, which would increase over time with inflation. In the meantime, your debt is being eaten by inflation, and you're paying the same amount 20 years from now as you did when you took it only you also have equity now.
