not? it's going to stink like 2 hours once a month for cleaning the filters. its not 1900 anymore they have filters and use oxyclean to absorb smells.
i grew up downwind from a coal burning power plant. other than the fact that i got like 5x the normal dose of background radiation (detectable impacts start about 50x) for 20 years no issues others than some weird smells about monthly.
