That’s the year I started using biz

I remember it being full of discussions about Ethereum and how it would eventually flip Bitcoin

Like how 2018-2020 was full of chainlink spam, 2015-2017 was full of ethereum spam

the entirety of this decade has been defined by the system giving white people a soapbox/manufactured idols while the collective vibrations of the country plummets to absolute shit

At the beginning things were extremely slow. I was there when it was formed as a crypto containment board so /g/ wouldn't be spammed with crypto and particulary Doge threads.
Also in the past there were more poor fags just asking for free crypto and also plenty of simple and frugal topics. Naturaly after three more crypto bull markets things have become less humble.

Yeah, BTC briefly broke $1000 in 2013. This was during the MtCox mess when that idiot Karpeles claims his exchange was "hacked" and most of the Bitcoin his exchange was supposed to have was "stolen". And also, that there was a "trading bot" running on his own internal servers that kept bidding up the price of BTC to insanely high levels.

TBQPH I should thank him because I was able to buy in at an average cost basis of $300/unit in 2014-2016, and that probably wouldn't have happened if he hadn't fucked up so massively.

It was a great resource ten years ago with lots of great business ideas and advice.
After 2017 it became a crypto obsessive board and then a jeet scammer clusterfuck.
I'll try to find a screenshot of the catalogue from 2014 I have somewhere that reveals great it was

We used to have the best business discussions, /pmg/ has stayed the same mostly. Never got into /smg/ but I bet its the same. My favorite was Sunday nights, lots of talk on money-making ideas, strange jobs, the board moved at least twice as fast as it does now.
