don't see enough threads here about the actual business side of things. what are you all working on? what's actually working for you? online, offline, whatever.
I'm building an human resources tech product, as I used to work in the industry. always had ideas but never had the time or skills to build everything myself. AI coding changed the game completely and now I can actually ship stuff A LOT faster. planning to test and scale fast if it hits.

for the tech literate lurking: AI basically codes at an intermediate level with minimal fixes needed. plus you can literally discuss business logic with it and it helps you think through next steps. game changer.

so what you up to? what works? what doesn't?

I make my own car parts and sell them.
Been fairly stable at $600 net income every month.
Not bad for selling shit online as a side hustle.

I've found selling stuff under $50 really helps foster sales.
No one blinks an eye at spending lower amounts.

how do you make your own car parts? 3d printing? salvaging junk?
>No one blinks an eye at spending lower amounts.
yeah that's something important. it's also a reason why the software world moved from one-time license to subscription based. easier to charge $9,90 a month for Office than making one $100 sell, and you end up making more money with the former

I can 3d print or send stuff out for CNC Lazer work.
It's really not all that hard.
Eventually I'll have my own Water Jet and do my own cuts

Interesting. So where do you get the original measurements? From 3d printing geek sites, or do you measure the parts yourself?

I design and model everything myself.
Not hard.
But anyways, dead thread on a Crypto board.
Shame we can't talk about business anymore.

Is it just your market? I resell vintage clothes and collectibles and for the past year or so I've had trouble moving anything priced under $40. The $100+ items go flying off the shelves though. It really slowed down a month after the tariffs fracas since people started to watch their spending. Now I'm getting lowball offers left and right, as in retards wanting me to sell them $200 items for $40.

Idk, maybe that's the Hipster crowds doing their thing.
Anything in price below $40 sells fast.

I have a bunch good quality old school converse, some special editions, how do I get to know the possible price for them? I remember trying to look on eBay for an idea but didn't come up with anything useful.

SEO is becoming less relevant in my opinion as people move toward closed platforms (Facebook, Instagram) or ask AI instead of using Google.
that being said SEO still revolves around backlinks and reputation flow. you know those AI-generated websites? search engine crawlers can't distinguish human-written content from AI-generated content, so they still attribute reputation and value to these sites. If you want to penetrate a competitive market, the strategy is creating a network of websites across different domains, hosted on different IPs, all with dynamic content (AI-generated works) linking back to your main site.
another useful think you can do is casually drop your URL on Reddit through posts or comments in specific subreddits. let Reddit index it since Google and other search engines view Reddit as authoritative and their reputation flows to your website.
thank me later bro

no such thing as an app that is a SEO optimizer that makes miracles. you need to put in the effort but it works.

We have gotten a couple recommendations off of chat chpt desu. Got us a couple sales this month.

I was looking at creating authority sites, but then the problem is you gotta have those sites increase in DA no? so you gotta spend all your time getting a bunch of sites up before you can get the one that pays you, right?

Very convoluted but ig if thats necessary, I wonder how ai optimization is going to work.

Do you work in the field or industry?

Hired boostability but im not enthralled with them, got us 3 mediocre backlinks for 1200 dollars in a month.

We have a presence on instagram but facebook instant bans people in my field, so its kinda fucked up bc we are considered high risk.

If you want, add me on disc if this thread goes down:

I just use eBay sold listings as a reference. Otherwise, list for tree fiddy and hope for the best. If it's something you truly think is valuable, list for an absurd (to you) price and accept offers.
