S&P500 gets rebalanced this friday, I thought about buying some shares in companies that are eligible for inclusion for farm some money from ETF's rebalancing.
From marketcap Applovin (APP/$140.9 billion) should get the biggest stake but I noticed that they also fulfilled all the requirements last march but didn't get included for some reason.
Can someone spoonfeed me if I am missing something or has a similar strategy?

Thanks anon. I did very well on it. It have a scanner that tells me the highest percentage stocks over the last 2 weeks, tells me the current pullback from the top, and also tells me the relative volume on the day. I also compare everything to a news scanner. SRM was near the top in percentage gains, had a massive relative volume on the day (currently over 300x it's 30 day average), had fresh news regarding a crypto treasury, and was still making new highs. All that historically combines for a high probability of further gains. My stop loss was the pre-market low.

or, if you think you can get a better price by timing it, then do that
calculate the discount you think you can realistically achieve. If you can see many 5% dips in the last 3 months, then why pay full price? Wait a few days (maybe set a stop order or whatever) and buy at a 4% discount. Or 5, if you want to be greedy
I set a safety factor, to limit my greed.
But if the stock is just going up up up, buy now. You won't be able to get a better price (unless you think it will drop later)
Why buy a stock now if you think the price will go down?
