Before or after taxes.
If before, then you haven't earned $1M yet.

You donโ€™t get drafted and die for Israel and live out your days in peace in prosperity.

i bought a house, now i think i want to sell it. it's too big for me and i fucked up the front yard big time. don't want to deal with all the maintenance. but i need to fix the yard if i want to sell the house. it'll probably cost 15k to xeriscape it. and i fell for the homestead meme and my backyard is a fucking zoo now with a chicken coop and fruit trees/bushes all over. not sure if anyone would want to buy this.

take 70k, live off that for a year, quit your job.
put 100k in speculative investment. Think, AI, War stocks, memes, Oil, Crypto, Gold, whatever you think has a good chance of returns in the next year. (no leverage retard)
put the rest of the $0.9m in a 1 year bond to wait out the current shit show and give yourself time to actually be a millionaire (you don't wanna give back all your hard work right away). collect another $36,000 after the one year + your 900,000 + any returns on your speculation, and then invest smartly. Rinse and repeat, re evaluate, invest in property or more stocks.

Depends on where you live now. Is this enough to retire on in your country? If so, enjoy!

If not, you can at least do jobs that you enjoy until you've got enough to retire on.

Good luck, OP!
