When you "mine" a bitcoin, your computer is actually scanning through secret folders hidden deep within the internet, almost like a high-tech treasure hunter. These folders are scattered all over the web and are filled with unused, lost bitcoins from when the internet was invented. Mining software uses complicated algorithms to unlock these folders, kind of like solving a puzzle or picking a digital lock.
Whenever your computer finds one of these folders, it downloads a fresh, unused bitcoin and puts it into your wallet. That’s why powerful computers are better for mining: they can scan more secret folders per second. Eventually, all the secret bitcoin folders will be found, and that's when there won't be any more bitcoins left to mine.
Hope this helps
