I do tech sales and could certainly branch out, but they dont seem to be hiring either, save for the used dealerships who are always hiring. I've been walking into every high volume mid-tier tech company and giving the unironic handshake, and so far the results have been comical.
The last company that reached out asked me for availability for an interview did so at 10pm on monday, I responded that next morning and he never responded back, so I went in to introduce myself and was told the guy who reached out was the hiring manager and he left for vacation Tuesday morning.

Anyway, in a similar vein I've got video cover letters I was using to encourage the ai screeners to kick me over to a human, but I think it may just be filtering me at this point.
