7 figure hell is real bros, I wouldn't wish 7 figure hell on my worst enemy. How the fuck am I going to 4x this to 10 mil in 2 years before I turn age 30? I'll be too old to do anything by that time. It's fucking over

PEPE will go 3-5x in the coming weeks. Obviously, $10M is still poor, but at least you'll be out of 7 figure Hell.

I just turned 30 and I have a little over $2 million. I fucked up big in 2022. Anyway nothing happens except literally everyone around you stops keeping track of age as an indicator at this age. A 25 year old with $1 million is "doing well for 25." A 30 year old with $3 million gets looked at exactly the same as a 36-year-old in that scenario, because the very obvious breaking point of "doing well in life" was clearly decided a decade ago and everyone knows it.

Like socially your "peers" in your 20s are other people in their 20s. In your 30s, your "peers" socially are everyone in their 30s, 40s, and low 50s. By 55+ that divide in status becomes so pronounced you're either "comfortable" or borderline homeless, so they get their own cohort again.

Also my wife and I are buying a decent home right now (literally today) for about $2 million. And this isn't some mega-mansion, this is a mid-sized home with a shared parking space in a coastal US city. You are correct (but we really do need a home for our kid).

Yup, only 1% even have 1M excluding a home.

How do you share a parking space? You mean parking lot?
And how do you not have a driveway? Are you in a prime location?

its always over if you are born unattractive desu. don’t underestimate attractiveness. When youre a kid you might not notice it, just like u might notice notice being poor. but when youre hit 25, the life of the good looking vs mid men are quite different

to be a millionaire you need 44 million - this is the same as 1 million in 1970. If you want I can share my quantitative backtested edge with you so that you can 4x within your time horizon.

The location is northwest Seattle. It's a great location in my opinion, but the house itself is just alright. I guess parking lot is one way to put it. Like 2 designated not-covered parking spots behind the house for myself and a resident of a detached unit (DADU). Whatever, we chose it mostly for the location and the inside is comfortable.

For the location… ok. How about for schooling? Everyone wants my neighbourhood. Top schools here. But idk, i think better than the whole city but at the end of the day, there are too many brownoids in my country. None in my area.

There's a private school we send our kid too now (starting 1st grade) that I like, but we're strongly considering pulling him out of it too because of something at the school I don't need to go into, but that also was a priority for us to consider. Bellevue (more suburban city next to Seattle) very clearly has better schools than the area of Seattle we're in, but we think all things considered this location (Ballard neighborhood of Seattle) makes the most sense for all of us, including my kid.

Once you have kids its harder to uproot them. Like it's physically easy but it feels really bad to do, in my opinion at least.
Everyone wants different things I guess, though..

True. I knew some rich people who took their children out of private school.

If you aren't larping, just buy a small house for around 300-400k (you can still get in a decent area too) and put the rest of the cash into a bluechip stock paying dividends or another annual income producing investment. There, you're retired (as long as you know how to budget), now please stop bitching.
