I'm in UK but wouldn't think twice about doing this if that's where the best jobs are. In fact I've already left country to a crown dependency (small islands around UK) and might move to Canada long term. It's exciting and a life experience.

I mean, really. Come the fuck on. A mid level dev job in the Bay pays 2-3x what it would where I live currently. And that’s not even counting career advancement opportunities.

Going to the Bay Area from the Midwest, the following increase roughly by:

>Electronics, Cars, literally everything else: 1x
>Travel/Flights: actually decreases lol
$2.5k rent with $250-300k salary is not worse than $1.25k rent with $80-100k salary. To say otherwise is an insane cope.
