no, because that isn't a gauge of the bottom and the top, so you think you'll buy when alts are at their lowest, when actually they'll probably bleed a lot more from there.

iirc it calculates the percentage of altcoins doing better than btc, so just because most alts are doing worse than btc, that isn't going to catch the bottom perfectly, and in fact they'll use it to make sure it doesn't.

It's pretty clear Link is a sinking ship, Ada is 100% irrelevant nowadays, Dot is pure vaporware, Avax is now trying to compete against Sol for a slice of the shitcoin market pie because nobody cares about their original goals anymore (plus Sol is a dumping piece of shit as well but that's just it's natural state of existence). My only two recent buys outside of BTC and LTC were CMD (CLI) because it looks like an alright blockchain+AI project and Ondo, specially since both of them are pretty cheap thanks to the war autism going on at the moment.
