Being retired actually feels very good. Does anyone know this feeling? This morning, I had to get up early to go out to run errands and I felt so bad and stressed. It gave me flashbacks of when I used to work. Now my question is, how do you guys handle this every day? I was so depressed while getting ready this morning.

Don’t you find it pathetic when you want to brag and have to bump your own thread because nobody is replying?

I don’t, I’m depressed too. I just cope by believing I’ll make it within the next 5 years and won’t have to do this forever.

Nope, I hate the taste of alcohol and never felt the urge to do drugs. I mainly just watch anime, play vidya, and jerk off in my free time.

I agree anon. Same here. My wife and I look at people working at our age and wonder how they do it. 8 hours a day + commute, how do you find time to do things yourself? Even without that we barely find time.

i've neeted a lot and recently
i spent 4 months doing nothing
i didn't feel good not having work and income coming in.
i wouldn't want a business i'd rather have some easy job than be completely retired.

Yeah, doing nothing is definitely doing something. In fact it is the perfect setting for creativity to emerge. Muse don't find you when you're overwhelmed with someone else's work.

>going to work 5 days a week? i legit felt terrible the whole morning while i was getting ready to leave my house
I still feel terrible on sunday night and monday morning. By tuesday morning it's not as bad but still feels bad.
But by wednesday I don't feel anything, it's just work, gotta go in and do it.
Then the cycle repeats.
It feels like we aren't meant to work on a schedule like this.
I feel like I'd be more suited working hard for a few weeks straight, then resting and relaxing for a few months.
All this constantly work 5days straight and then short 2 day weekend, for weeks on end repeating forever, with no end in sight besides a random holiday every other month or two, or whenever I book a short 1-2 week vacation, I'm just not built for it. The 2 days isn't enough, the stress of going back to work immediately after builds up, accumulating into feeling worse over time.
I think I'd perform better if I had a few months off every year to really recover, then a couple weeks working hard where I'm superproductive and focus 100% on what I'm doing.

impossible. the last few meters before I enter my work place are the worst. the uncertainty of what kind of faggy shit is going to happen today drives me insane.

lol. This is legit what I do after I wash dishes. I need to rest for like an hour after doing dishes.

Also, the last hour of work is one of the slowest.

> i didn't feel good not having work
Other things become work, like cooking, cleaning and stuff. Everything that is not relaxing becomes work. Making a cup of coffee or tea becomes work.
