Yes, your job is likely just adult daycare of a fake job created by the people "working" in adult daycare.
I was working on a project in the Norwegian oil sector(government owned) last month, 10h days because the project "needed to be finished quickly" I probably averaged a good 2 hours of work a day while I watched people waste millions a day completing tasks the most backwards way possible. My experience is that when working with governments there is very little actual work, I've seen the same in Norway, France, England and Germany.

The thing that shocked me the most was that we we're renting big forklift like vehicles(not sure what the English name is) for hundreds of thousands a day continuously for months when the vehicles only costs a few mil to buy outright, these are vehicles which we know are needed throughout the year but for some reason the money men have decided its better to rent and pay 10x.

I'm a civil engineer working for public works. My work week is about the same, but I can WFH on some days. Technically we have a 3 in office day policy, but no one really follows it. Also people like me show up and leave whenever.

I am doing this to but how do you know when your good or not? I'm in sales so I can't really fake it but job isnt checking KPIs and sales are good

they are probably a part of a parent company that owns both companies. This way the forklift company gets to report earnings. The company renting forklifts gets to say, see look at all this money we are spending on business activities, we are growing! its all what kind of story can you sell to people while just moving shit around.
