I have stopped watching Eco doom posters and just invested and focused on my life.

Never been happier.

No shit dude. These grifters make money off of doomposting.

Same as all of the tech faggots that are constantly bitching about every new Nvidia, AMD, or Intel product that comes out. Or bitching about every new video game or gaming console. The current hype is bitching about the Switch 2 even though it's only been out for like a month and bitching about $80 games because everyone is a poorfag retard. Games have been $60 for the last 25 years, but now a $20 bump is somehow bankrupting tech geeks. Go work an extra hour at your job retard, congratulations, you just bought your new game.

The entire internet makes money off of doomposting and ragebaiting.

Exactly. People bitching about video game prices really have no clue. They're just whiney bitches at the end of the day.

N64 games were $60 in the 90s.
PS1/Xbox games were $60 in the 00s.
PS2/Xbox 360 games were $60.
PS3&4/Xbox One games were $60.
Nintendo Switch games were $60.

Oh no, after 30 years they increased their prices by $20!!! It's not like we've had inflation, wage increases, logistical issues since Covid, etc.

And like I said, do 1 hour of overtime at your job and wallah, you can afford your video game.

Just stop caring and don't buy shit from greedy cunts. They just want to please investors instead of taking the hit.

Can't please investors if you don't exist. Haven't bought kebab in 6 months. My friends have stopped too.

Beer at the brewery is cheaper than the pubs.

and now factor in how little costs were associated with those early games, teams were tiny marketing cheap
then look at todays bloated studios and retard tier marketing budgets
but regardless if expressed as dollar per hour of entertainment provide games are still the single best choice by a very wide margin
compare that to say a movie at the theater lol

The important takeaway is that yes, growth has been illusory and ultimately QE is unsustainable, but the music will stop almost all at once, so do your best to have your ducks in order if there's massive collapse and unrest.

How is it an illusion? My parents bought a McMansion for $80k in the 1990s that worth nearly $3 million dollars today

They bought that house on my dads income, while my mom was a stay at home wife, with 3 kids, and my dad worked in HVAC installation blue collar job

A childless married couple who are Doctors would struggle to buy my parents house today.

>ultimately QE is unsustainable
but that eventually can be a very long way of
as i have said here several times look at argentina and turkey for how long they managed to go along with it
all fiat currencies are valued against each other, and without another large industrial power that has a hard currency to appreciate against the rest this clownworld will continue
here is one example: do rent control or exorbitant taxes on third and up properties and the biggest issue of escalating housing costs is fixed and you can keep this up for a good long while

My favorite thing about the Switch 2, the main complaint is that it's not "innovative" enough and that it's basically just an upgraded Switch 1. You mean like every new Xbox, Playstation and PC? It's so stupid. Just don't buy it than if it triggers you THAT badly.

>Mario Kart World isn't good enough!!! It's trash WAAHHHHHHHH!!!!
Then go play Mario Kart Deluxe on the Switch 1. Wtf is wrong with these people?

missing the point, its about a currency mixed with an industrial power
if some large country starts paying their factory workers in gold than its a currency, as it stands its an investment asset
unfortunately every country agrees the fiat scam is just too good to give up

>PS1/Xbox games were $60 in the 00s.
>PS2/Xbox 360 games were $60.

Absolute bullshit. PS2 and Xbox games were $50 back in the early 00's. Video games for the PS3 and Xbox360 didn't become $60 until about 2008 through 2010 or so. Also the fact that you group PS1 and Xbox together, and PS2 and Xbox 360 together, tells me you have no clue at all wtf you are taking about when it comes to video games either- Xbox wasn't even around when PS1 was out in the 90's, completely different generation of systems. KYS inflation paypig shill.

what i mean is, in real terms the entire world is getting poorer. which was (((their))) goal all along.

the end goal is the justification for UBI in conjunction with a great reset and centralisation of power. "late stage capitalism" will get the blame.

This, don't know about Ameribucks but my mum bought Battlefront II for ยฃ25 on release week from Tesco. I remember saving up for Spore and it was about ยฃ34-37. I don't remember seeing ยฃ60 games until the late PS3 era. Also things are digital now and back then Publishers refused to use Steam so everything went into their bank accounts.

Yeah when your supply is limited you can charge more, genius. When all you have on the market is 10 NES games, each one can cost 60 bucks. When you have 500 NES games and 97234 other games, each NES game costs nothing

It is easy to get stuck in a loop, especially if you use youtube and keep clicking on related vids. Crazy how your life can spiral out of control if you just watch one doomer vid, and then another, and then another. Or even worse, you watch one gambling vid, then another, etc. You see where I'm going with this? Monkey see, monkey do. If you want to be healthy and relaxed, stop consuming content that makes you anxious, and look up stuff that makes you relaxed and promotes exercise, wellbeing, etc.
