All arguments for buying silver have now been debunked....
-SETF

All they have left is hoping that everyone wakes up today and wants to buy silver.....lmao that's why they shill it nonstop,,,,,,because you don't need or even want it otherwise

Just ordered two ten ounce silver bars specifically to use for palm cooling during my workouts and summer yard work. Thanks again to /pmg/ for a good idea.

What was the reason for the massive crash that happened back in April?
>>60541989Saved, gm bro :)
>>60542242That's okay. It makes victory taste sweeter. Gold is already replacing all fiat currency as the global reserve. Soon silver will become the global trade currency. And that will be the moment the river of monetary history returns to its true course, the course it followed for thousands of years. Fiat currency is an unnatural, corrupt diversion and we are going to live to see its end. The hollow pillars of the global economy will come crashing down and mighty will be the noise and cloud of dust.

>>60544478Pt deficit has been discussed here, not nearly as much as needed, but most pmg posters are incredibly lazy and want somebody else to do all the digging for them.
Pt got very strong arguments, but it's nothing new, even the supply deficit have been years in the making, but somehow we see the price move only now.
Tbf it's impossible to blame anons to not get too hyped by this for now, considering the catastrophic returns on Pt for the last 20 years. Pic very related : 20 years ago you needed only half an oz of Pt to get 1oz of gold, and up until last month you could trade 3.5oz of Pt to get 1oz of gold.
So up until the very recent price jump, Pt performed 7x worse than gold during the past 2 decades. That's crazy bad..
Pt will need to do a x2 before getting anybody raising their eyebrow and get stackers interested.

>>60545148in my opinion the best part isn't even a slightly better deal for us, its that cashback programs are just jew schemes to keep people materialistic, and using credit systems that come with fees for every transition. Its a very small sum, and doesn't offset their profits much. But getting a slight deal on bullion your buying to beat the jew scam, and getting that deal out of their pockets, is just a kino concept to me.
>>60545215plus, I like to think the sellers on ebay aren't ALL jews, so letting them get good prices and covering the jewbay fees helps them out too
>>60544909Most online shops in the US offers free shipping above a certain purchase treshold, which usually is around $150/200.
From experience buying newly minted bullion on ebay is to avoid, because the sellers have to jack up their prices to cover the (insane) commission fees. But it's the place to be if you want old coins for way cheaper than online shops. Never purchase numismatics from shops, the go-to prices comparison website for coins is MA-shop, and my rule of thumb is to check the average price of any coin i want there and divide it by 4, then wait for an auction on ebay to pop up and my max bid will be this /4 calculus kek.
>>60545148>always be cashbackingThis terminal indebted society perks doesn't exist over here :(
Actually, i wonder if cashbacks do only exist in the US? Never heard about another country practicing these.
>>60545275>my rule of thumb is to check the average price of any coin i want there and divide it by 4, then wait for an auction on ebay to pop up and my max bid will be this /4 calculus kek.very similar to what I do for bob's token store and vault.
I find the record ebay sale for the item I want and then max bid 1/2 that. Still haven't beaten that one from a few years back that I used to brag about. Picked a token up for $38 and had it sold for $800 before it even arrived. That was my sweetest slurp, and paid for several months of collecting just by itself.

>Still haven't beaten that one from a few years back that I used to brag about. Picked a token up for $38 and had it sold for $800 before it even arrived.Very nice bobby bro! >>60547765yeah, rome also lasted awhile, retard. both empires lost influence and let their economies suffer because they overspent and then debased their currencies to keep overspending.
I specifically chose some of the longest lasting empires on purpose, and yet even hen an empire lasts over 1000 years, fiat currency never does, you can track the fall of a nation through its currency being debased.
And now here you are declaring that its different this time. You can't even read the subtext people are literally underlining for you, much less between the lines.
The way you respond proves how ignorant you are, and yet you talk so damn much you gotta be even dumber than you seem to not see it yourself.
Is it too late for buying gold? I only really have a stack of silver.
>>60547817AI says fiat has lasted over a millennia and might be replaced by crypto. Dude you are so angry that's a sign you know I'm right. We aren't going back to pms at best they are a shitty investment and a poor store of value
.
>Fiat currency has existed for centuries, with its origins traced back to China during the 10th century, where it was first introduced as paper money. However, the modern era of fiat currency began in the 20th century, particularly after the United States abandoned the gold standard in 1971, marking a significant shift in global monetary systems.
Since then, fiat currency has become the norm, with most major currencies around the world operating under this system.
The current fiat currency system has lasted for several decades, and while it has faced challenges, it remains the dominant form of money globally.
The future of fiat currency is uncertain, as the rise of cryptocurrencies and digital assets continues to challenge traditional monetary systems
>>60547818I mean it'll only go up over time as it has been consistently. Try to buy during a dip. $3400 is kind of the new high floor at the moment so anything under that I'd say is still a decent investment even if you're still late to the party.
>>60547818Write out your investment thesis, if you can't you fell for an obvious scam
>>60547866>I mean it'll only go up over time as it has been consistentlyThis is the danger of reading this financial incel blog. You are taking advice from idiots who can't even get basic facts right. Gold lost value from 1980 to 2024, if you buy now it could very well lose value for the rest of your life. Silver is way way way worse
>>60547851>AI says your a dumb niggeroh wait, thats me, based on real facts in real life. you really are literally retarded to try an appeal to authority with an ai response aginst someone who literally studied the rise and fall of nations throughout history.
I'll make it simple for you. When money is fucked so is commerce, the people and the nation. Its not instant collapse, the problem gets worse and worse and worse, and its not til average retards on the street realize its fucked that the crash finally happens.
Its literally exactly like your shitcoins, the moment you no longer have career bag holders is the moment your entire economy crashes as everyone tries to exit the market at once.
If you even understood what derivatives were, the fact were oversold by 200x in most markets would be enough for you to atleast shut the fuck up about bitcoin.
>>60547867>>60547866Sorry, I forgot to mention that I intend to use gold as I use silver; as a relatively-liquid hedge against inflation and economic instability rather than seeking great returns on investment over and above the fact it maintains it's purchasing power.
Got my hands on a very rare and historically important coin, but it's in crappy condition. What should be the price tag?
Pic rel is the coin in question.
>>60547899>This is the danger of reading this financial incel blog.and yet, this is literally the same shit you say about bitcoin.
Lets follow bitcoin to its logical conclusion. Say everyone buys in, everyone becomes billionares because the value skyrockets. Now that everyone is a billionare they want to live like one. Now the price plumets as ppl exit to buy mansions and cars, so people panic leave the market before they can't even afford catfood. Then the asset is officially toxic and becomes worthless because noone will accept a distressed asset. You freeze in winter because you can't afford fuel and can't even burn your billions of dollars in wealth to keep warm.
Its called a hyperinflation collapse. The hyperinflation is never a swift process, but the collapse is. No, actually some nations like zimbabwe had a rapid inflation and collapse.
If you understand literally anything about supply and demmand you know the derivitive problem is smoke before seeing the fire.
>>60547919And for reference, here is a similar coin, the latest sold in auction of that type, sold for 2,800โฌ in 2024.
Total population referenced : 26.
>>60547782>If the usa had hyperinflation they could just whack a few 0s off the endI'm pretty sure that's not possible.
>Anyway fiat will obviously never die unless they come up with something better, gold aint itYou sound illiterate. But anyway, you clearly don't know what you're talking about. No one advocates for gold alone, and in fact fiat is not the worst idea to some, as long as it isn't controlled by private parties. Which is really just common sense. But I'm sure you'll take issue with something that's common sense.
>>60547782>Everytime you swap you loseThen don't take that swap stupid. I went from 100 oz of silver to over 2500 oz of silver simply by swapping. Not really sure what reality you exist in but it's not the one I'm sharing.
Unless you trying to bitch about premiums, tell me, how much are those gas fees again lol.
You're fabrication doesn't match reality friend. In the real world we call that delusion.
>>60547918>relatively liquidThen maybe gold and silver aren't for you. Most of us will probably hold our shinies until we die.
>>60547901>When money is fuckedIt's not, the USD has provided me with wealth beyond anything my ancestors could dream of. inflation is a minor problem or no problem at all. Oh no we have 3% inflation ,,,,literally not a problem since i don't leave cash or rocks under my mattress
>>60547918>hedge against inflationIt's a terrible hedge, silver is down in nominal terms over the last 45 years, you must think we had deflation from 1980 to 2025, gold failed too from 1980 to 2010
>>60547925I've never said that about bitcoin, bitcoin like gold and silver doesn't track inflation and unlike gold and silver had huge gains
>>60547930>I'm pretty sure that's not possible. That's what argentina, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, Serbia, Italy, Japan , England and everyone other country has done for hundreds of years
>>60547936>I went from 100 oz of silver to over 2500 oz of silver simply by swapping. No you didn't
>>60547967doesn't saying something like this prove you actually don't have much of anything? if you had money, and liked things that cost a decent amount, i'd assume you'd notice the insane increases over the lsat decade or two. even people with money notice. when a 911 is now a mustang, they notice.
>>605479673% inflation according to who? 80% of the money supply was printed during covid. If you were educated or had actual opinions that were your own you'd literally just know better.
>>60547972be real, you say this shit all the time, but you also ignore everything I say about derivative markets because you don't want to accept that bitcoin is a wealth sink, a derivative of a derivative, and the campaign to get more bag holders literally is proof of inflation. Like how low points in a stream are gold catches, people holding bitcoin is just a dollar trap. Its vapor wealth, unlike gold and metal which are industrially relevant and will never be worthless, crypto fails as soon as you can't buy shit with it.
You back the only form of "money" that gets weaker when people actually use it, fiat.
Everything you say is just so ignorant...
>>60547989thats called a "red herring" where he brings something up that is totally irrelevant to the debate, to derail the flow of logic. It's also just what stupid people do without any control over it. This dude is all logical fallacies. If its not a strawman or red herring, its appeal to authority, and he acts like he, his ai, and the jews are an authority.
>>60547989>you'd notice the insane increases over the lsat decadeThat didn't happen ,,,anyway I invested and got huge returns, made 148% on bitcoin last year.....inflation is a non issue
>>60548020There's nothing wrong with fiat, you only think so because you listen to coin merchants and now your whole personality is a rock which doesn't even protect you from inflation
AND, without fiat your standard of living would be 50% lower
None of you can explain how inflation has harmed you. If you have a bad income/no skills sure, but you all claim to be sophisticated financial experts so that's not you
It's only a problem if you stick cash under your mattress
>>60548047Stop being pedantic. Ovbiously I'd rather carry paper notes than a jangley bag of coins, retard. EVERYONE prefers this. But theres a big fucking difference between a silver certificate and a "federal reserve note".
What IS a problem is the usuary practices with fiat not being backed by anything, and printed on a whim. Which is what causes the downfall in the first place.
Big fan of honest systems, not a fan of Jewish usury practices being forced on me.
>AND, without fiat your standard of living would be 50% lowerbaseless red herring, retard, the only inflation in currency supply should be actual wealth in the system. Inflation should be zero once you account for freshly mined money.

That's the great thing about telling the truth. Don't have to worry about getting caught.

Buy silver when the ratio gets above 60/1. Buy silver when it's above 60/1.
