I'm 27 years old. I have no degree, no real marketable skills.

I made about 100k net in advantaged gambling the past 5 years. Good investments in btc and stonks has me sitting at about 170k currently, about 50k liquid.

Advantage gambling sucks. It's draining. I'm not particularly good at it nor do i really derive satisfaction from it. It's also dying compared to what it was.

I want a wife, kids. I need to start putting down something that can be thought of as roots.

Rent seems like a fucking retarded deal. I don't want to live like a nigger in a city forever. I need a homebase. Does anyone have experience with tiny homes, semi off grid?

I'm sure my story isn't exactly the same as other peoples here but I bet it is similar, the feelings of listlessness and feeling adrift.

Any advice? I need to find a new avenue to generate wealth besides gambling, I have a few ideas and I'm sure anons will not share their secret good shit. Fair enough, but if you have any general pathways to offer or advice about tiny homes, van living, etc. Please share

>im thinking about just saying fuck it and trying to get a hippie girl to live with me in a van

brothers I am lost in this collapsing empire. What is the proper play?

tiny homes, rv's and vans are cool, but you need to either camp on public land (requires moving around a lot and having starlink) or rent someone's driveway or yard

hope this helps.

you can get land in the western US for about a grand per acre but you can't camp on it year round. You'd have to buy a couple separate parcels and move once or twice a year between them.

In most of the western US to camp year round on land it has to have a house on it

which means I can camp in a van if I want on my land because I own a house. But why would I want to camp in a van when I own a house?

if you don't own a house you can't camp on your land. You can camp on my land, but you might as well buy a house for what I'm going to charge you.

the rent hacks in the US have been discovered and closed. There is no cheap place to live that's easy. If it's cheap it's hard. If it's easy it's not cheap

> I don't want to live in society
pick one.
A good woman isn't bought. She is found through constant socialization, which only occurs in communities. You have to be someone, anon. Making a bunch of money gambling created no network for you.

Genuinely trying to help out and not shill-buy XRP. Not a huge amount or anything that cuts deeply into your ability to function. I genuinely think you will be profoundly thrilled at the result. Put your savings in a government moneymarket account or buy short term t-bills rather than leaving it in the bank earning zero interest. If you use Fidelity you can transfer it to a moneymarket account to use from your moneymarket kept in your brokerage account and use it like a debit card. Pay for everything using a credit card (can use a crypto one like Gemini has to earn high interest) but do not spend a single dollar you cannot pay back in real time. Do not buy a house yet, the prices will crash in the next few years but save towards it.

I'm buying giant apartments somewhere in a third world with good internet connection and filling it with plants and gear once I make it. Renting and traveling made me realize how easy the life can be if you own a place that has such a small upkeep that you can be a NEET forever.

Don't listen to the people telling you to get rich off crypto or other BS. Stick to the following and don't deviate. You take your 8-12% and dividends and you keep reinvesting the dividends. If you stick to this plan for the next 12 years and not touch it, you will be worth $2 million easily

I came out of my VPN to respond to you directly. Else I am strictly lurking.

When I was 19 I started a trade apprenticeship. Partly due to my father being a Superintendent at the time he steered me into a trade โ€œto fall back onโ€ when the โ€˜thingโ€™ I wanted to do had potentially failed or slowed down at times. During my apprenticeship I didnโ€™t vacation and took all the overtime I was given. FF I completed and turned out in three years, making $50 something an hour at 22 years old. During this time I lived in a clapped out 1967 VW bus and this saved me a lot of money.

I bailed to the tropics in the early 2000โ€™s and proceeded to live in a tent and very very low rent beach studios for approximately 17 years; saving and skimping. Basically being known as the the neighborhood friendly cheap ass IT/computer guy. During this time I put myself through school.

During all this time starting from High school I would periodically put money in the market with reinvested divvys and forget about it. In addition set aside interest accruing funds for real estate.

My portfolios sit total around 500k plus two houses totaling about 8,000 sq-ft, 240 acres of farmable land and maybe another 600k in tools, equipment and shops.

I met my wife while living in a tent. I did not give a fuck showing her where and how I lived. Mind you living in the tropics filters out women who need the city life and will generally net you more easy going chicks with their own thing going on. We have been married 12 years with two blonde kids and currently live in a non shithole country in Western Europe.

Your goals are completely achievable. You donโ€™t come across as a retard either. Just motivate yourself and get moving as you donโ€™t get the time wasted back in your account. Itโ€™s gone forever.

as someone whos constantly traveling, how are you able to establish yourself in communities? Myself, as a gambler I wasn't living in a van but I was in and out of different areas for months at a time. It was fun, when I was 23. Now that I'm getting up there, the idea of being a permanent vagabond with nothing to come home to is starting to lose its luster. We as human beings aren't meant to live without certainty and familiarity in other people. I'm also opposed to multiculturalism and wish america was a supra-majority white country, and that serves to further alienate me from city people. I have a small network. Of other gamblers. Vagabond types. It's cool, but again, its not rooted.

I want to be off grid more but relatively close to the suburbs. I hate city life but I'm not raw enough to be a true country farmer. I'm better suited to semi-rural life.
>>60545626
issue with this is no income at the moment to facilitate the dividends. and part of my thinking is, if the country becomes brazil and shitty and machete attacks ramp up, what good is being rich anyways? I guess to seclude yourself in private enclaves. sad future.
>>60545669
i am honored. what part of the tropics? I like this idea of filtering out women who need city life. Like a hippie chick who isn't a total degenerate with armpit and mustache hair and smelly unwashed pussy. lol. So you went from USA trade school ----> tropics IT (where you somehow met a white girl?) ----> western europe retired/semi retired
I was under the impression that moving to any other country (especially tropics) would make earning decent money much harder/ force it to be online Entreprenurial dropship

Do you mean 50k in cash? If you don't have a house surely all your net worth is liquid?

You seem pretty confused about what you want desu.
>I want a wife, kids. I need to start putting down something that can be thought of as roots.
>but if you have any general pathways to offer or advice about tiny homes, van living, etc. Please share
Is pretty contradictory. What do you actually want and why? Is it right that you want a real house, wife etc. but are assuming you can't afford one so you've moved on to thinking about tiny homes or vans?

Worth 170k at 27, you're doing well above average, just don't lose it all.
Get a skill, find an interest. Industries move and technology develops so fucking fast now it's no longer about having a four year degree or 5+ years experience at thing, it's about being able to learn and adopt new technology quickly.

It makes sense if you have a house in a rural area. As you don't want a bunch of people getting a $20k lot and camping on it. Part of it is the poop. This isn't India after all.
