My ultimate hope for crypto, has always been that you could own/speculate on REAL companies through secure, decentralised (synthetic) protocols.

And ideally that included existing stocks, e.g. GOOGL, MSFT, etc, through some type of oracle based derivative.

This way you could invest your money without having to pay fees or rely on various layers of intermediary jews. And your money would truly feel yours.

However, I feel like those same jewish regulators have successfully prevented all large crypto projects from being able to realise this vision.

That being sad my hope for a future where crypto plays a significant role has died. Crypto morphed into a monetary version of the TOR network, boomer gold, and a gazillion pajeet-tier scams.

Is there anything left to rekindle hope?

Bitcoin is crypto and the worst version of it, 7TPS, 10 minute block times, very little smart contract functionality. The fact that it is what the crypto world has rallied behind indicates that crypto is dead.

The economy isn't based on hard to decrypt numbers. Bitcoin is just a little piece of infrastructure. Real value will always remain with companies producing actual goods. People need housing, food, clothes, cars, etc. As long as there is no decent interface between crypto and the real economy, it's never going to realize more than a sliver of it's real potential.

And so long as most people, who own significant amounts of wealth, invest that money, there needs to be a proper bridge between investing in real companies and crypto.

It's just a shorthand for describing bankers, lobbyists, regulators, etc; people who exploit the monetary system to leech of of others.

Not all jews are like that, but a significant amount of people who exploit others through these types of means are in fact jews.

I unironically got into crypto through Robinhood. For 6 years I'm only up a couple hundred on BTC but well over $1k on HOOD in just 4 years when robinhood had its IPO. Warren Buffett was right. Crypto is garbage. All it does is crab or dump lately. It's literally sports betting with team logos and gongo up cheerleaders at this point

the absolute boomer. he thinks it's still 7TPS. he doesn't know about +40% increase, not about LN which has unlimited e.g. 100000 TPS globally.

Heritage fundation is absolutely not leaded by jews but a fundamentalist Catholic tied to republicans and the hungarian worldwide mafia.
On the contrary, they are leading the charge regarding antisemitism in general, leading a controlled opposition.

LN is shit and can't scale without relying on centralized parties (since you need to use BTC to create a channel, it ultimately falls back on BTC which cannot create more than 200 million channels a year). Also it is easy to lose funds if you don't have a watchdog due to the retarded way it was designed, and the nature of its network topology will lend itself to centralized super nodes dominating the network.

Yeah that's what I thought initially, except that it won't.

Chainlink is far too centralized to push for anything revolutionary that goes against what the status quo/regulators want, and Sergey is comfortably sitting on billions of dollars so he's most certainly not going to put his ass on the line.

I mean they've had almost a fucking decade, this is obviously their main use case, and they have absolutely nothing to show for it.

yeah same here, 2021 felt like everything was happening too fast, but 2022 was also very disappointing seeing DeFi communities dissolve under a little legal pressure

Still in historical big-picture terms, it would have been unbelievable to change the financial system so quickly with the first attempts at hackey smart contracts. regulations are slowly turning around and we could really be trading stocks legally in 10 years on a blockchain. the dream isnt dead, which is really impressive considering how powerful the opponents are

What would be the point? They would have to be centralized systems because each company would have to manage its own stock-transaction blockchain. And since they'd be centralized, there is no point in having a blockchain instead of just a centralized database, i.e., pretty much what exists today except maybe organized differently so there is no "three day settlement" bullshit or "we can naked-short if we use a Canadian brokerage" fuck-fuck games.
