Why do people like to buy fancy expensive stuff when they’re making a lot of money?

Every victim of crime I see on the news… like a break in… or whatever… it’s always in 99.9% of cases to steal the persons show off car

Because everyone dies. If you're not spending your money its useless. Even your kids will blow it all away unless you have some strict withdrawal rules in some trust. Which will just end as soon as the government you're living under collapses.

ok but u could also reduce your odds of being robbed by using some basic common sense, like not buying a cool fancy car every young criminal guy wants

COOOOOONNSSSSOOOOOMM

on the other hand, what the point of having money if you don't use it for anything? Theres a happy midpoint somewhere, probably way lower than most people think. Turns out having a TV makes you happier, and getting a new TV every year doesn't make you any happier than keeping the same one until it breaks.

I reached 300k three years ago, and the only “fancy” thing I did was buy some caviar (it tastes like shit btw)
I used the rest to keep betting on memes like npc or just to live comfortably without too many luxuries, It seems that the latter and saving a little bit is technically the key to really making it lmao

Lizard brained consoomer shit.

Once I’m rich I plan to be a lazy gamer degenerate. The only “fancy” thing I’ll splurge on is escorts.
