To the FUD in this thread, This is the classic Bitcoin hodling paradox, but it ignores that XMR operates in a different context. Unlike Bitcoin which became primarily a store of value, Monero has inelastic demand from users who NEED privacy, not just speculation. People laundering money or making sensitive transactions can't substitute - they'll pay whatever the price is.
