You know how people apologize if they other people are seeing them eat during a Zoom call whatever? Fuck that and be the opposite,t ake a hole plate of pasta or something really messy and bring in a hole plate with a knife and fork. Hell bring a bib too and start eating in front of everyone, making sure to make slurping noises too. Can't do that. If I try to sleep in, the dream people give me nightmares because they know that I set up a routine that necessitates waking up early. I wake up seeing blue grids enveloping everything like this reality is not actually real. It's not like the naps actually help, the five minutes between alarms feels like hours or days.

Pretty good desu. After getting fired from my work from home job, which had ever increasing workload with no increase in pay, I ended up getting a blue collar job as a public transit rail operator.

I work 4 10-hour days per week, with 3 day weekends. My job is very easy, simply requires paying attention. It is somewhat meditative. I never get stressed out about going to work. Members of the public wave at me and thank me daily for what I do.

Of course the downside to this is that the pay is not good at all, but it's only about $1 per hour less than I was making at my work from home job.

Overall I feel like it's a good work life balance

Especially if you have a shitty job, let it be known cryptically that your mom and dad are loaded rich and pay for all your shit but made you get this job. This is how when I was younger working shitty jobs I’d avoid cleaning bathrooms and other bullshit extra work. Same with taking days off. Everyone would put in days off 2 weeks out, then get denied like a day before the day they needed off. Some gay corporate tactic, I’d just say “I won’t be here” and take the day off, I’d also line it up with my other days off so 4 days turned into 12, and my boss would try to tell me “ok you can have those days off but you have to come in on these other days” I’d tell him no, I’m going away, that’s retarded.
