About 1 year ago i made 500k from trading - some options, some lucky longs. Longed post ETF dump from 38k with my entire stack and held it up to 70k. With some big call option position, the profit compounded to over 500k.

Started to chase some shorts. Bled out, bled out some more, lost about 300k of profit and decided to make it back with shitcoins - big mistake, lost almost everything.

Had about 5k left. Started to monitor charts like a top tier autist. Had literally a vision and some retarded level of max conviction that my next play will be godlike.

And it was. I used my last 5k to all-in on some alt that was dumping to all time low.

Caught the perfect low. Had the unshakable conviction and confidence.

That 5k quickly grew to 20k - i held position. Then 20k turned to 50k - i kept holding it. Added some more longs on retracements. Then Trump won in November.


Had multiple long position on my subaccounts - shit exploded massively to a profit of 800 to 900k. World felt surreal, like i was some sort of a main character in a comeback story.

Added some more on retracements. Shit just kept going in December and my overall position grew from 5k to about 2 million.

Never took profits. Thought the tariffs are a meme and a bear trap.

Lost everything in 1 day in February. Took some loans to chance. Fucked it up even more. From 2 million to a negative networth and unrecoverable position.

Don't be an idiot like me and take some profits. I thought i knew the market - been in crypto since 2014. And now all i have are debts are regrets.

Your problem was having no goal beyond making money. Ask yourselves "what are my goals?" and take profits accordingly to satisfy such goals e.g. down payment on a house etc.

It was not quick, it took 4 months. And it wasnt on BTC, it was on shitcoin, max leverage back in september on that coin was 25 or 30x, and i did use 3 subaccounts to catch a perfect ATL. That shitcoin went from 0.19$ to 1.3$ in 4 months and during the run i also added more longs catching the retracements perfectly. Then caught the btc move from 68k to 100k+. Adding longs when you i was up that huge was easy, a lot of space to fuck up. In the end i had about 8 bybit subaccounts with unrealized profit of 250k on average

Partially true. If the initial position was left as it was, i would still be in profit. My starting entry was never even touched by a wick ever again. I even took some money off the table during that run, about 3 btc "in case everything fails" - but decided to use it to protect my bigger positions from being liquidated

After the position grew to over 80-100k i switched accounts to cross and transfered some money to new accounts, adding to longs, etc
